The woman on the left is wearing gloves and has a towel in her lap; there is a pile of wrappers at her feet. The woman may be Mabel Marble of Hood River, Oregon. The name “A. L. Marble” is written on one of the crates behind the woman. The photograph may have been taken at the annual Pacific International Livestock Exposition in Portland.
