Photograph showing a view of a dairy farm. Cows roam in a dirt area in front of a large barn and silo. Agricultural crops grow in the foreground. Two handwritten notes on the back of the print have been crossed out. They read, "A successful dairy farm at Deer Island, Ore," and, "Model dairy." Third handwritten note reads, "Prosperous dairy farm in Western Oregon. Return to Publicity Dept. SP&S RR." Areas of the photograph have been whitened for publication. Stamp on the back for Angelus Photo Co. Second stamp on the back reads, "Oregonian Layout."
