The sign reads “Columbia River Highway, Scenic Route Troutdale.” Photograph taken as part of a series documenting the effort of the Portland Women’s Forum, Save the Gorge committee, to curtail logging in the area. Photographs from this series were published in the Oregon Journal on Sunday, April 6, 1952 (negative 13 of 23). Negative appears to have some discoloring and damage.
