Numbered certificate dated June 14th, 1906, from the Sons and Daughters of Oregon Pioneers. "Nan Robertson" is written in the center, as well as "Portland," "Multnomah," and "Oregon."

Head and shoulders portrait of a woman leaning against a tree, facing right, and looking slightly left. She is wearing a hat, glasses, fur stole, and overcoat. The name “Mrs M. C. Howard” and the number 2 are written on the negative and are visible on the right side of the image. The woman is probably Matilda C. Howard, who traveled with her family from Missouri to Oregon in 1850, when she was a child.

Full-length portrait of six unidentified people, four sitting on a couch and two sitting on chairs facing them. Written on the negative is the text “5778 Pioneer Reunion.”

Cased photograph featuring a portrait of a seated man with his left arm resting on the back of a chair. A typed note enclosed with the image reads, "Henry H. Angell, 1823 - 1902. Crossed plains to Baker, Oregon in 1880." Collection records indicate this was taken circa 1860. Case is lacquer, inlaid with abalone in a floral design. Spine embossment reads, "Bijou."

Handwritten note enclosed with the image reads, "Rev. William Scott Lewis. Born Central New York, March 28, 1827; to Oregon 1851; Pastor Taylor Street Methodist Church, 1852; died December 1st, 1865. This was first house of worship in Portland. Organized 1848. Church erected in 1850, First Pastor, Rv. L.(?) H. Wilbur." Second handwritten note enclosed with image reads, "Rev. William Scott Lewis born Central new York March 28, 1827 - to Oregon in 1851. Pastor Taylor Street (First) Methodist Church, 1852 - Died December 1st 1865." Case made of leather and wood.

Legacy collection records identify him as John Waymire, who built the first wharf and sawmill in Portland, Oregon. He was a pioneer who arrived in Oregon in 1845. Case is made of wood and leather.

Cased photograph featuring a portrait of a woman wearing a dress with a white collar. She looks to the left of the camera. A typed note enclosed with the image reads, "Mrs. Mary Richardson Walker. Born, Maine, 1811; married Rev. Elkanah Walker, March 5, 1838; crossed plains horseback that year to Whitman Mission; first child, Cyrus, born at Mission, Dec. 7, 1838; died Forest Grove, Oregon, Dec. 5, 1897." Mary Richardson Walker came to Oregon as a missionary. Legacy collection records indicate that her son Cyrus was the first white male born in the Oregon Territory. Case is made of wood and leather. Case cover was replaced with archival board during conservation.

He looks at the camera. Handwritten note enclosed with the image reads, "Judge Reuben P. Boise." Boise came to Oregon as a pioneer in 1850 and served as a politician and a judge in the Oregon Territory and later in the state of Oregon. Case is made of wood and pressed paper.

Cased photograph featuring a portrait of a seated man wearing a military uniform. He looks at the camera. Legacy collection records indicate a handwritten note was once enclosed with the image. It read, "Reuben F. Maury." Note is no longer enclosed with image. Maury came to Oregon as a pioneer in 1852 and served as a colonel in the Oregon Cavalry during the Civil War. Case is made of wood and pressed paper. Case cover was replaced with archival board during conservation.

Born in Kentucky, 1807; one of the founders of Burlington, Iowa, Sacramento, California, Linnton, Oregon, and founder of Old Tacoma, Washington; crossed the plains in 1843; speaker of legislature of Provisional Government, 1844-45; in Cayuse Indian War, 1848; commissary-general in Rogue River Indian War, 1853; died April 17, 1875."

Second typed note reads, "Samuel L. Brooks, son of Linus Brooks, Pioneers of 1850. This family settled in Marion county, north of Salem. Town of Brooks on a part of the Brooks' claim Ambrotype taken at Butteville in 1855 by Lobdell, artist." [This image is a tintype, not an ambrotype.] Handwritten note on envelope reads, "Family settled in Marion Co, north of Salem (now Brooks)." Case is made of leather and wood.

Typed note affixed to the inside of the case reads, "Mrs. Anna Johnson Sylvester, Pioneer of 1858, Taken in Portland in 1866." Notes in legacy collection records speculate this photograph may have been taken by Joseph Buchtel. Case is a book-style case made of leather.

Cased photograph featuring a portrait of a seated woman, identified as Mary A. Harris, holding a baby on her lap. The woman wears a dress with a white lace collar. The baby wears a dress and a necklace bearing a cross. Typed note enclosed with the image reads, "Mrs. George W. Harris and daughter. The Harris family lived in a cabin a few miles north of Grants Pass. It was attacked by Indians Oct. 8, 1855. Mr. Harris was killed; his son fled and never was heard of. Mrs. Harris drew her husband's body into the cabin, barred the door and defended herself until dark; then locking the door, she and her daughter, the latter wounded, hid in the brush and were found the next day by Major Fitzgerald, U.S.A., and soldiers." Case is made of leather and wood. The cover is missing and has been replaced with archival board.

Handwritten note on the envelope reads, "Related to the mother of Harry L. Dale. These people came from Germany to Wisconsin in 1848, settling first in Wisconsin and then removing to Oregon about 1872." Legacy collection records speculate that this photograph may have been taken by a photographer named Britt. Case is made of wood.

Typed note affixed to the front of the image reads, "G. T. Wait - 1852." Handwritten note on the back of the image reads, "G. T. Wait. An Oregon Pioneer of 1852. Photo received in 1900."

Typed note on the back of the image reads, "Homan C. ... Buckingham, Pioneer 1846. See Pioneer Association year 1877. page 76." Legacy collection records indicate he was born in New York in 1812. He moved to Oregon from Illinois in 1846 and settled in Monroe. Handwritten note on sleeve reads, "Listed as participant in Pioneer Assoc. Reunion of 1877 (p. 76)."

Mary Ann Toupin Gervais Gay (1826-1888)." Legacy collection records indicate that Mary Ann Toupin Gervais Gay was Gay's second wife. Records also indicate that Gay was a pioneer of 1835 who built the first brick house in Oregon.

Uncased tintype featuring a portrait of Stephen Coffin. He has white hair and a white beard and wears a suit. Typed note under the image reads, "Stephen Coffin - 1847." Typed note on the back of the image reads, "COFFIN, Stephen. Pioneer of 1847. Located in Portland. One of the first town-proprietors (land-holder) in Portland. For biography see 'History of the Willamette Valley,' page 668." Legacy collection records indicate he died in Dayton in 1883. [Coffin served as a brigadier general in the state militia.]
