Biographical history

Sheryl "Cherie" Heiser, nee Jenkins (1939-2018) was a photographer. She studied photography under Minor White. In the 1960s, she moved to Colorado where she founded the Center of the Eye. She returned to Oregon in 1978. She was known for her self-portraits and her evangelism for photography.
