OHS Maps Collection

The OHS Maps Collection contains over 25,000 maps that focus on Western exploration and the Oregon Territory. Available types of maps include those of the Oregon Territory, the state, cities and counties, and special subjects such as mining, forestry, railroads, coasts and rivers, soils, farmlands, land claims, Native Americans and explorations.

Most maps in the collection are cataloged following the Library of Congress classification system. A larger selection of the maps available in the research library is searchable via our library catalog: http://librarycatalog.ohs.org.

Online collection contains a selection of items from the full collection. The remainder of the collection can be viewed on-site at the OHS Research Library.
