Photograph, taken outdoors near a building, showing two men and a woman with five Belgian horses standing in a row behind them. Each person in the photograph is holding one or two of the horses by its lead rope or halter. At center is Mrs. E. F. Peffer; she and her husband owned the horses. The men are unidentified. This photograph was probably taken in October 1935 at the Pacific International Livestock Exposition in Portland. The text “Pffefer [sic] of Stockton Cal - Belgians” is written on the negative and is visible in the lower right corner of the image. Also see image Nos. 375A0013, 375A0022, 375A0025, and 375A0026.
