The photograph may have been taken on Monday, September 26, 1927, at Pearson Field in Vancouver, Washington, or on Tuesday, September 27, 1927, during an air show at Swan Island airport in Portland. The text “Geo H Beverly [sic] — J W Cathey” is written on the negative and is visible on the right side of the image.
