Captain Tamon Yamaguchi

The name “Capt. Tamon Yamaguchi” is written on the negative and is visible on the right side of the photograph. A cropped version of this photograph was printed in the Wednesday June 5, 1935 issue of The Oregon Journal with the caption "Captain Tamon Yamaguchi of the imperial Japanese navy, naval attache to the embassy of Japan, stopped in Portland between planes Wednesday on a visit to naval bases on the Pacific Coast.
