Handwriting on the back of the print reads, "Oct 29, 1913, Eng. BO Miller was killed in this wreck at McCall Washington. Condr Lee Braughton & Eng. SA(?) Smith of work train was out on trestel (sic) unloading gravel, trestel (sic) washing filled in ?. They were in the schedule of the mail train and had no flag out. Neil(?) A typed description on the back of the card reads, "Half mile saddle dash, with cow ponies ridden by cowboys. This is usually one of our most attractive races."

BO Miller of SP&S and GN fireman were killed, no flag out - Lee Brattan was condr of work train and SA(?) Smith was engr."
