Oregon Shipbuilding Corporation launching “Star of Oregon”

A riverboat with “Henderson of Portland Ore.” painted on it is facing towards the larger “Star of Oregon.” A group of people can be seen standing at the back of the Star of Oregon, looking downwards towards the riverboat. An industrial building can be seen in the background. The Star of Oregon was sunk by a German submarine October 30, 1942 (negative 1 of 15).
