This photograph was published in the Oregonian newspaper on June 4, 1949. The women are (left to right): Rosetta Clark, Maureen Luthe, Nancy Woodcock, Lynn Luthe, and Alene Sanders. Each is a candidate for the title of Miss Seaside at the festival. A label taped to the bottom of the print reads, "Lewis & Clark Festival, Seaside, Oregon."
