The trip was organized by Ken Killary, Director of the Valley Migrant League's Woodburn Opportunity Center. This image was published in the Valley Migrant League's Opportunity News on February 4, 1966.

A large sign on the side of the terminal building reads, "Skiway to Timberline." Several automobiles are parked in a parking lot next to the terminal building. The tram was operated by the Mt. Hood Aerial Transportation Company from 1951-1956.
