He wears a US Navy dress blues with rank insignia for petty officer third class Carpenter's Mate on his sleeve, and a wool beret. His enlistment date was April 6, 1943.

A young man in a WWII U.S. Army Air Forces uniform with pilot wings visible on his jacket. He holds a board that identifies him as "Lester L Braman." Braman lived for a time in Prineville, Crook, Oregon. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942 at age 22 and was killed in a plane crash in Texas in 1943 just weeks after getting married.

She wears a beaded necklace and a dark blouse with a white lace panel. The man's hair is closely-cropped on the sides with wavy swept-back bangs. He wears a WWII Naval uniform indicating that he is a Petty Officer Second class Machinist's Mate. A symbol for nuclear power is embroidered on his sleeve in between an eagle and two chevrons.

South Falls Lodge, Silver Falls State Park, Sublimity, Oregon
