Typed note on the back of the print was likely written by Jack M. Holst. It reads, "I'm sorry I don't have a better photo of the car in question, but this may give you some idea. It is the car in front of the "British Columbia" in this photo taken on one of the Canadian trips a couple of years ago. Road: West Coast Rwy Assn. Remarks: N. Van., B.C." A stamp at the bottom reads, "Jack M. Holst, 12930 N.E. Tillamook, Portland 30, Oregon." [Jack M. Holst was the president of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society.]
