A cropped version of this photograph was published on Page 7 of the Oregon Journal on Friday, December 8, 1933, under the headline “Prepare ‘Hot Time’ in Chinatown.” The photograph had the following caption: “Leaders and regalia which will head a parade Sunday through Chinatown by Suey Sing tongmen celebrating their establishment in new headquarters at 510 Southwest 2d avenue.
