The funeral procession for famed political cartoonist and Silverton, Oregon native Homer Davenport, stopped at the gravesite. Crowds of mourners stand in the cemetery and the casket can be seen next to a grave marked with an obelisk. Davenport died on My 2, 1912 and was buried in Silverton following an elaborate funeral paid for by William Randolph Hearst.
