Portland Rose Festival Float with large ski jump structure

Photograph showing a flower adorned float at the 1951 Portland Rose Festival at Multnomah Stadium, with the large wooden ski jump structure in the background (at 155 feet high, the structure was built to celebrate the upcoming 1952 Oslo Winter Olympic Games). Two women in large flower skirts and a man in a tuxedo can be seen on the float in the center, while another float with a 4-H logo can be seen to the right. Extensive scaffolding can be seen under the ski jump.
