City Hall, Silverton, Oregon

Exterior view of a newly-constructed two-story reinforced concrete building in Silverton, Oregon located at 306 S. Water Street. Centered over a recessed entry with classic columns is a curved pediment on top reads, "City Hall." The fire department's garage doors are on the right side of the building. Original plans for City Hall were drawn by C. H. Rullman, City Engineer, in 1925. Local contractors Thornley-Jones-Jennings-Bailey were awarded the contract. The site was formerly the location of the City Water Works and in 1892 that of the City Electric Light Works.

Freeman taught Manual Training, Mechanical Drawing, and Athletics at SHS. He was the architect of Eugene Field School which was built in 1922. His architectural drawings of the exterior of the school are seen in OrgLot678_B26_047.
