Two boys, identified in the Oregon Journal as Bill Blackgoat and Gerry Thomas standing at a workbench hitting small sheets of metal on anvils with ball-peen hammers. This photograph was printed in the February 12, 1956 issue of the Oregon Journal under the headline "Training Navajo Youngsters for Northwest Living is Main Project at Chemawa" (negative 2 of 14).
