A boy sits inside a tattered car, running a beer can opener over the seat covers. His name is Kelly Ridley and his parents work long hours in the hops fields of the Willamette Valley, Oregon. They have no access to daycare, so he is left in the car for long hours. This image was published in the Valley Migrant League's Opportunity News on May 13, 1966.
