Duplicate of Stereograph 1298, on a different mount. Stereograph of the Tooth Bridge, located west of Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge and part of the Oregon Steam Navigation Co.’s Oregon Portage Railroad around the rapids of the Cascades of the Columbia, 1867. The mule-drawn cart approaching the camera on the tracks is carrying John Stevenson and Joseph Bailey, superintendent of the Oregon Portage Railroad.
