A young man, likely a member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), holds a sign in a picket line in front of a liquor store in Portland, Oregon. He is protesting the sale of products from the Schenley Company in Delano, California, where grape pickers are on strike. His sign reads, "Solidarity forever. Don't buy I.W. Harper, Cutty Sark. Huelga. SNCC-SRE." Photographs from this series were published in the Valley Migrant League's Opportunity News on March 4, 1966.
