Smith Rocks and the Crooked River
Photograph of the Crooked River at Smith Rock showing the Smith Rock Group, Asterisk Pass, and the east side of the Christian Brothers rock formations. Mount Jefferson is visible in the distance in the opening between the rock formations. The copyright notice on the front of the print for Gifford. Handwriting on the back reads, "Smith Rocks, Crooked River." Benjamin A. Gifford and his son Ralph I. Gifford both published photographs under the Gifford name.

Photograph of the Mt. Hood Skiway Tram as it approaches the terminal in Government Camp. Mount Hood is in the background, covered in snow. A large sign on the side of the terminal building reads, "Skiway to Timberline." Several automobiles are parked in a parking lot next to the terminal building. The tram was operated by the Mt. Hood Aerial Transportation Company from 1951-1956.
