The photographs were published under the headline “At the Garden Show in Laurelhurst.” This photograph had the following caption information: “White tulips in a royal blue porcelain vase are something to conjure with, visitors at the garden show learn.” The photographs accompanied a story about the Portland Flower and Garden Show titled: “Beauty Marks Garden Show Held by Club.” The show was put on by the Portland Garden Club and the Portland parks bureau.
