Photograph of freight ship W.H. Peabody being navigated through the Morrison Bridge by the sternwheeler Portland piloted by O.G. Graham, and tugboats Manzanillo, James W. and Bear. Exterior of the Desert Room club, located in the building at 1217 SW Stark Street in Portland, Oregon. Two signs on the building read, "Desert Room." One is located over an awning and entrance to the club. A sign painted on the wall of the building reads, "Desert Room. Open 3pm to 2:30am. Two shows nightly - 11:30pm & 1:30am. No cover charge. Featuring fine food." There is also an advertisement for 7-Up on the wall. Two automobiles are parked in front of the building. The Desert Room club was owned by Nate Zusman (negative 1 of 2).
