The name “Jiro Harada” is written on the negative and is visible at the bottom of the image. Jiro Harada was commissioner of the Tokyo Imperial Household Museum in Japan (now the Tokyo National Museum) and was a guest professor at the University of Oregon in 1935 and 1936.
