Note ring on little finger, right hand. This ring, in the collections of the Oregon Historical Society, bears the legend: 'From Lois to Beek.' Acc. no. 8419." Legacy collection records speculate the photographer may be Robert Vance, based on the similarity between this image and OrgLot1414_0240S003_001. Case is union case made of thermoplastic.

Enclosed with the image is a newspaper clipping announcing the marriage of Cornelius C. Beekman and Julia E. Hoffman. Case is made of wood and leather.
