Photograph of 8 cows scattered in a wide, open field in Granddalles, known today as Dallesport, Washington. Two of the cows in the center appear to be young calves. The cows all turn to look at the camera. Typed note on the back of the print reads, "3000 acres of this kind of flat land commencing with Granddalles townsite and extending 3 1/2 miles north to foothills." Handwritten note indicates this is Washington state.
