Relief is shown by hachures and spot heights. Water depths are shown by soundings and gradient tints. The map also shows the route of steamers between Victoria and Fraser River.

A printed map of the western portions of Canada. Colors show the geological divisions of cristalline rocks, silurian formation of Hudson's B. & L. Winnipeg, devonian formation, and lignite or coal formation. The map also includes profiles of routes for the Pacific railroad, from St. Pauls, Mississippi to Puget Sound; from mouth of Kansas River, to Fort Vancouver, Columbia River; from Council Bluff, Missouri, to San Francisco, Pacific Ocean; and from Westport to the River Savier Utah. The map also includes informational tables on the "Indian Population of British North America, "French Canadian Forts at time of the Conquest," and a "Hyetal or Rain Table." Relief is shown by hachures.

Handwritten preservation copy of Mss1212_B1F2_003. Letter written in 1845 to Brother Bond by Daniel Lee, nephew of Reverend Jason Lee. Daniel informs Brother Bond of the death of Jason Lee, and writes of his late uncle's life. Subjects include Jason Lee's spiritual awakening, his health and state of mind in his final days, and the illness that led to his death. This preservation copy of the letter from Daniel Lee to Brother Bond is written in more modern and legible handwriting than the original.
