Photograph, shot through a chain link fence, showing baseball players on the field at Vaughn Street Park during a Portland Beavers game. A pitcher can be seen in the middle of the field, and a ball is in midair heading towards a batter. Spectators can be seen at the far end of the field, sitting on bleachers next to several large advertisements, including one for “Sears, Roebuck and Co” over the scoreboard. At the left side of the frame is a tower for “American Can Company” (negative 2 of 15).
