Photograph showing a chimney and debris at the site of a U. S. Coast Guard building in Bandon, Oregon, after the town was destroyed by a wildfire on Saturday, September 26, 1936. A cropped version of this photograph was one of seven that were published in a spread on Page 13 of the Oregon Journal on Tuesday, September 29, 1936.
