Aerial photograph, looking northwest, showing the south face of Mount Hood. The wings and struts of the plane from which the photograph was taken are visible at left. This photograph was taken in 1932 during an airplane trip following the route of the Mount Hood Loop Highway. A story and 10 related photos from the trip were published on the front page of the Oregon Journal Sunday magazine on June 5, 1932.
